I got the Fall IK the other day and promptly put it aside. I like to savor these things so I resist the urge to immediately rip into it and then get frustrated when the family won't leave me alone to drool in peace.

I finally got to sit down and skim through it. I really need to go back and really READ the article on Kate Gilbert and the Beyond Basics : Invisible Cast-On and Bind Off's!

Anyway, at one point, I stumbled upon an ad for Mountain Colors
I don't know why this particular ad caught my eye more than any others but it did and I flipped the magazine to Spouse and made a comment about just buying one of everything in IK and I'd be a happy camper. Spouse's response?

"Maybe if the person shopping for you had a list of projects you want to work on with yarn requirements you'd get something for Christmas"

I busted out laughing....Spouse is completely removed from my knitting, as far as he's concerned it's something that keeps me occupied so I don't try to talk to him while he's watching Bill O'Reilly or some John Wayne movie for the 4,000th time. The fact that he actually strung the words project and yarn requirement into the same sentence tickled me pink.....

I would hop on that list making stat. When I tell my hubby about getting me stuff like that for Christmas he tells me that those things are too specific. Um, hello, its for me...a specific person! LOL!

You could always pass me a list to pass to him on my way to the post office....

Nine days and counting!!!
